How can I connect and listen to the radio station?
- You can connect to the radio station by clicking on the 'Listen now' link on the main page, and select the connection that
fits you. Slower connections should use Dial-Up, while faster connections should use the DSL Broadband radio link. If you are experiencing
any problems listening, please e-mail us at radio@animeacademyradio.net, or contact us on #AAR@IRC.RIZON.NET, and we will try to figure out the problem ASAP. The following are radio servers that you can listen to Anime Academy Radio on, if one server is full or slow, please try another.

How do I get the songs that are playing on the radio?
- Please do not ask us this, we are here to provide a radio service only. If you wish to acquire the songs, please look elsewhere. If
you need information about the songs, please feel free to look it up with in the request page with the (i) icon. Or in the irc channel
using the !songinfo trigger.
How do I become a DJ?

How do I connect to IRC for live shows?
- To connect to IRC, you first need an IRC Client. The easiest client to use is Sysreset 2.53. To join us on IRC, please follow the following steps:
Steps to connect to #AAR on IRC.RIZON.NET
a.) Download Sysreset 2.53.
b.) After installation go to (File->Options->Connect) and in the right window pane, click Add.
c.) For the Server and Description put: irc.rizon.net
d.) For the port put 6667, and leave the rest blank. Then click Add.
e.) Then back outside on the connect panel, enter in a Nickname and Alternative Nickname you want to use.
f.) Find irc.rizon.net on the server list and click connect.
g.) After you are connected in the status window type: /join #aar
h.) You should be in the #AAR channel after this, if not, please e-mail us and we will help you in any way possible.
How can I help the radio station?
- You an help by donating to our station to keep our radio and webservers running. AAR is a non-profit organization that provides
a free service for all it's listeners. Even the smallest donations would help. You can donate by clicking the Paypal button on the front of the page. If you would like to donate in an alternative way, please let us know via IRC or E-mail, thanks.
- People can also help by updating AAR on new song releases, or notifying AAR of any recommendations to play on air.
How do I make requests?
- Note: You must be a registered to Anime Academy Radio Forums in order to make song requests!
- Note: You must disable any pop-up blockers to request! (Requests send a confirmation window)
- To make a song request on AAR, please visit the 'Live Request' page and search for the song you would like to hear, you then can request it by clicking request, a confirmation window should display if your request was successful or not, please read the following notes regarding requests:
- You may request two songs per hour.
- Songs may not be repeated for 990 minutes.
- An artist may not be repated within 1 hour.
- An album may not be repeated within 2 hours.
- Live *Web Requests* are disabled during live DJ shows.
- To request during live DJ shows, please visit #AAR on IRC.RIZON.NET and use the '!request' trigger.
